TERMS & CONDITIONS AWARDS
-
By submitting an application to creATP Limited, trading as Psychedelics Design ("Psychedelics Design") for the Psychedelics Design Awards (the "Awards"), all applicants ("Applicant") acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Binding Commitment By submitting an application, you agree, on behalf of yourself and your team, to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. "Applicant" and "Participant" are used interchangeably throughout.
2. Application Submission and Review Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. Only completed applications will be considered. Selection decisions are made at the sole discretion of Psychedelics Design, based on criteria outlined in the application and these Terms. Psychedelics Design is under no obligation to provide feedback on applications.
A project may be entered in multiple categories; each requires a separate application and fee.
Open to participants aged 21 and over.
3. Submission Method All information must be submitted via the official application form. Links to supporting materials are permitted and encouraged. After submission, no edits or additions are permitted without prior written request to info@psychedelics.design. Edit requests are considered at Psychedelics Design's discretion and are not guaranteed.
4. Access to Submission Materials Applicants are solely responsible for ensuring that judges can access all submitted materials, including providing accurate and functional links. If judges cannot access materials due to applicant error, judging will be based solely on what is accessible.
Physical copies, prototypes, or models are not required and will not be requested as standard. In some cases judges may indicate that physical materials would help them make a more informed assessment — if so, we will reach out. Sending physical materials remains entirely at the applicant's discretion. Psychedelics Design is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to physical submissions. Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, physical submissions will not be returned.
5. Application Fees Application fees are non-refundable for any reason, including non-acceptance or inability to participate. Submitting an application is not a guarantee of selection as a finalist or winner. If your application is not selected, no refund will be issued. If the Awards do not take place, a fee waiver may be requested for a future edition.
6. Category Selection Psychedelics Design reserves the right to place an entry in the most relevant category at its sole discretion, including re-categorisation based on judge feedback.
7. Finalist and Winner Procedures Finalists receive complimentary access to the yearly online conference plus a number of guest tickets confirmed at the time of notification. No refunds will be issued for event tickets purchased prior to notification of finalist status.
Winners are required to submit a short video as part of their award. This is not optional — it is part of what it means to win. The video should introduce who you are and speak to your project: what it is, what drove it, and what it means to you. Think of it as your answer to the awards. Production quality is not a requirement — a clear, landscape-format recording on a smartphone is entirely acceptable. Winners are also encouraged to share any existing video material of their work that Psychedelics Design may use and edit into the final production. Winners warrant that they hold all necessary rights to submitted video materials and explicitly permit Psychedelics Design to use them for awards-related purposes.
Finalists and winners must provide high-resolution images representative of their project. They warrant that they hold all necessary rights to submitted visuals and explicitly permit Psychedelics Design to use them for awards-related purposes.
8. Eligibility and Content Entries containing pornographic, hateful, defamatory, or offensive material are not eligible and may be disqualified at any time without notice. All entries must comply with applicable laws and regulations in the applicant's region.
9. Judging Finalists and winners are selected by the Psychedelics Design team, advisory team, awards board, and industry judges. Entries are evaluated on innovation, design quality, functionality, impact, overall experience, and ethical alignment. The weight given to each criterion will vary depending on the nature of the entry. All decisions are final and made at the sole discretion of Psychedelics Design.
10. Intellectual Property Applicants are solely responsible for protecting their intellectual property rights — including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets — and for seeking legal counsel as needed. Applicants understand that sharing proprietary information online carries inherent risks and assume all associated responsibility.
11. Publicity and Use of Likeness Applicants grant Psychedelics Design a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, perform, edit, or distribute submitted materials and likeness for awards-related purposes — including media and promotions — in any medium now known or later developed, without compensation or further approval required.
12. Use of Psychedelics Design Marks Psychedelics Design owns all rights to its trademarks, logos, and associated materials. Applicants are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use official Psychedelics Design marks solely to promote their participation, for a period ending two months after the awards ceremony. Any additional use requires prior written approval. All goodwill arising from such use belongs exclusively to Psychedelics Design.
13. Representations and Warranties Applicants represent and warrant that all submitted information is accurate, that they hold the necessary rights to enter, and that their entry does not infringe the rights of others or violate any applicable law. Applicants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Psychedelics Design and all related parties from any claims arising from their entry or breach of these Terms.
14. Personal Data Applicants consent to the collection, processing, and use of their personal data for the purposes of award administration and communications. Data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Confidentiality and Announcements If accepted as a finalist or selected as a winner, applicants agree not to announce or publicise their status until Psychedelics Design's official announcement. Premature disclosure may result in disqualification.
16. Modifications and Liability Psychedelics Design reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any aspect of the Awards for any reason. Notice will be provided on the official website where possible. Psychedelics Design shall not be liable for any costs or damages arising from changes, cancellations, or denials, regardless of reason.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in UK courts.
18. Agreement By submitting an application, applicants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
